Delete your Arch Trail account

Use this page to request permanent deletion of your Arch Trail account and the personal data linked to it. You do not need to log in on this website.

What will be deleted

• your account ID, email address, display name and stored profile image URL;
• your collection, visit records, notes, favourites, verification results, achievements and rank data;
• your friends/follows, blocks, social profile, group memberships and invitations;
• your registered push-notification devices and delivery settings;
• your account-linked visit-photo submissions, uploaded files and published location-photo references created from those submissions.

Groups you own are removed through the database relationship rules. Other users’ own visits and account data are not removed.

Information that may remain temporarily

Limited information may remain temporarily in protected backups, restricted security or server logs, or records that must be retained to comply with law, prevent fraud, resolve disputes or demonstrate that a deletion request was handled. Anonymous information that can no longer identify you may remain. Location suggestions are not account-linked and therefore are not automatically removed with an account; their submitted IP address is cleared after 30 days. Submit a deletion request

Enter the email address used for your Arch Trail account. If an account exists, Arch Trail will send a confirmation link to that address. The link is valid for one hour. This protects your account from unauthorised deletion requests.

Delete from the app

When signed in, open Profile → Privacy & Account → Delete account. Confirm the action to delete the server account and clear that account’s local Arch Trail data from the device.
